Innovate UK’s Women in Innovation programme is aimed at women founders and co-founders of UK-registered late-stage startups to champion women entrepreneurship and dismantle the barriers to growth. Successful applicants can expect to secure a grant of up to £75k (up to 100% funded, and with 50% of the grant request paid within a month of the project start date) as well as a bespoke business support package to further their ambitious growth plans. Eligible projects must be highly innovative and support at least one of three selected high growth sectors, including advanced manufacturing, digital & technologies, and life sciences. The programme releases an annual call for proposals and has had a proven track record of enabling brilliant women across the UK to fully achieve their vision for their businesses since its inception in 2016.
