SBRI Healthcare is a UK-based programme that provides funding to innovative SMEs solving the unmet health and care challenges in the NHS and wider system. They support early-stage projects by enabling testing for feasibility and technology development, as well as more mature products by supporting real world implementation studies. For example, in 2024 SBRI awarded a total of £9m to 41 healthcare innovators across areas such as child health, autism and learning disabilities, health inequalities in maternity care, and net zero.
